Getty Images wanted to enter the world of art sales through Ecommerce. They purchased the domain Photos.com and parentered with my employer to help build their website and produce their art. I worked closely with the Getty team to help create their website and had my first real experience working with a remote team.
What I Did
I collaborated remotely with a UX Designer and Visual Designer at Getty for this project. I was responsible for taking the lead role with development, ideating on concepts with the other designers, and creating user flows and site maps. I also managed the regular website design updates once we went live.
Tools and Deliverables
I sketched frequently for this project, created wireframes in Fireworks, flows and site maps in Invision, and pixel perfect mockups in Photoshop.
Results
The team delivered a successful product and I learned much about working with a remote team. We were able to create a premiere website for ordering high quality, customizable art with an easy user experience.
